Support
Memorization by Furlo · Updated September 19, 2026
Memorization is made by one person, and that person reads the support email. If something isn’t working, or you have an idea for the app, write to apps@furlo.com.
Reporting a problem
Email apps@furlo.com with your device (iPhone or iPad), your iOS version, the app version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot usually saves a round trip.
Support emails are kept in a regular mailbox, so please don’t include anything you would rather not have stored. You can ask for your messages to be deleted at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
What you need to run it
An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26 or later. The app is free, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Syncing also needs an Apple Account signed in to iCloud and enough iCloud storage.
Syncing across devices
Open your library, tap the ••• button, and choose iCloud Sync. Turn it on for each device using the same Apple Account. Passages, hidden words, and saved Recite results are exchanged while the library is open, so changes can take a little time to show up everywhere.
Turning sync off keeps the passages already on that device and leaves the iCloud copy alone. Anything you change while it’s off is merged back in when you turn it on again.
Sync is not a backup. If a passage would be painful to lose, keep your own copy of the text somewhere else.
Reciting out loud
Recite follows along through the microphone, so the first time you use it the app asks for permission. If you declined and want to try again, turn the microphone back on in the Settings app under Memorization.
Speech is transcribed on your device using Apple’s built-in speech recognition — your voice isn’t sent to me, and no recording is saved. Your device may need to download a speech model for your language the first time, which takes an internet connection and a moment.
Recognition is not perfect. Background noise, accents, and unusual words all affect it, and results are meant as a practice aid rather than a score. A quiet room and a normal speaking pace give it the best chance.
Deleting passages and data
Deleting a passage also deletes the Recite results saved with it. If sync is on, the deletion travels to your other devices the next time they catch up. Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device.
Privacy and terms
The Privacy Policy covers what the app stores and where. The Terms & Copyright page covers the license and your content. Questions about either go to apps@furlo.com.
