Memorization is provided by James Furlo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It helps you practice and memorize text that you choose to add.
Your license to use the app
Your use of the App Store version of Memorization is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”). That agreement governs the software license, its restrictions and termination, and applicable warranty and liability provisions. This page provides additional information about Memorization and your content; it does not replace the Standard EULA. If there is a conflict about the software license, the Standard EULA controls, subject to applicable law.
Your content
You retain any rights you hold in text and other material you add to Memorization. We do not claim ownership of your passages. The app processes and stores your content to provide editing, memorization practice, results, and, when enabled, iCloud synchronization. Adding content does not give us permission to publish it or use it in advertising.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to copy and use the material you add. This may include your own original work, public-domain material, permission from the rights holder, or an applicable legal exception. Personal study does not automatically make every use of copyrighted material lawful.
Use the app lawfully and respect others' intellectual property and privacy rights. Do not use it to infringe those rights or interfere with the app's operation.
Practice results and availability
Speech recognition and Recite results can contain errors and depend on your device, language, environment, and speech. They are practice aids, not a guarantee of accuracy, pronunciation quality, or memorization results.
Some features require compatible hardware, software, downloaded speech models, internet access, or available iCloud storage. Apple services are subject to Apple's terms and availability. Synchronization can be delayed, interrupted, or affected by conflicting edits. Keep separate copies of text you cannot afford to lose; synchronization is not a substitute for a backup.
We may update the app and its features over time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for every device or operating system. Your rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

Pricing
Memorization is free to download and use. It has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your internet provider or Apple may charge separately for services such as mobile data or additional iCloud storage.
Copyright and third-party materials

This notice does not claim ownership of passages you add, third-party works, or public-domain material. Bible translations, poems, speeches, books, and other works may have their own copyright holders and usage conditions. Memorization does not grant permission to reproduce or distribute those works outside the rights you already have.
Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use does not imply endorsement of Memorization.
If you believe material supplied with the app infringes your copyright, contact apps@furlo.com. Identify the work, the allegedly infringing material and where it appears, your relationship to the rights holder, and how we can reach you.
